Think back to when you were a child and you held your family’s photo album in your hands and flipped through the pages. Think of all of the photos of people you knew, and people you’d never known - but all of them were your family’s history. That’s the importance of family portraits. We should be taking family portraits and not just saving them in a file on our phone or even just sharing them on social media, but printing them to display proudly. We should be able to pass them on to our children, so that their children can one day hold these photos in their hands and ask questions about their family history.

My hope is that, together, we will capture many photos full of love and laughter that you will treasure in your home. That your children will be able to walk by printed photos of themselves every single day and think “that’s my family, and I belong here”.
